Happy Ecom ("we", "us", "our") operates as an e-commerce brand accelerator. We partner with consumer brands and sell products on their behalf on online marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information in the course of our business, including information processed through our website (happyecom.in) and through marketplace systems we are authorised to access.

1. Information We Collect

a) Website visitors

• Contact details you voluntarily submit through our contact form (name, email address, message content).
• Basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used only to keep the website functioning and secure.

b) Marketplace order data

As the seller of record for our partner brands, we process order-related information made available to us by marketplaces through their official systems and APIs (including the Amazon Selling Partner API). This may include order details, shipment information, settlement and payment reports, returns data and, where necessary for fulfilment, limited customer information such as delivery name and address.

2. How We Use Information

• To fulfil and deliver customer orders placed on marketplaces.

We retain customer PII only for as long as necessary to fulfil orders and meet legal, tax and audit obligations. Order-related PII obtained from marketplaces is deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 30 days after order delivery, unless a longer retention period is required by law, in which case the data is archived securely and access is further restricted.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only with:

• Logistics and courier partners, strictly to the extent required to deliver orders.
• Government or regulatory authorities where required by law (e.g., tax filings).

We never share marketplace customer data with our partner brands in a form that identifies individual customers, and we never use it for advertising or profiling.

Our website uses only minimal, functional cookies necessary for the site to operate. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
